 florida sun vacation homes

I booked a home online. Before my final payment goes through, can anyone tell me if they have dealt with the company "Florida Sun Vacation Homes", I booked "Cinderella's Castle". Everything seems like it will be perfect, but you never know. I checked with the BBB and called the company and everything seems fine. I would appreciate a response if you have rented a home from this company.

if you booked on line it must have been throufgh a particular web site which shold have vetted all its villas listed -- are they licensed and insured and more importantly are you simply being allocated a villa on arrival or have you booked a specific villa

it sounds tome as though you are worrying unncessarily but check out which villa yopu have booked:its address etc etc

Hi,

I used Florida Sun Vacation Homes last year. Got there from Travelocity, but then used their own page. I just checked today and if Google it, it will be the first (non sponsored) link. You will find there the phone, in case you want to deal with "somebody" directly.

My stay was wonderful. The home was great and the service too. The location is perfect for Disney. The name of the home was (I think) Daisy and Donald's Pond.

For any who may be interested. I have completed my stay at property managed by Florida Sun Vacation Homs. I stayed in the Windsor Hills gated community, in a condo unit named Stitch's Hideout. Everything about the stay was 1st rate! Arrived after hours on a weekend. The directions provided by Florida Sun were straightforward. The unit was even larger than the pictures seemed to suggest, with 12 foot ceilings throughout the condo.

I did find after the fact that I could have rented in the same kind of unit direct from owners for around $10 less per night....but I think the assurance of a management company is worth the extra money. There was a confusing sample notice in the kitchen of the unit...called Florida Sun's on-call person 2 times after check in. Each time they called back heerfully within minutes. Had a TV settings problem flare up during my stay, Florida Sun sent a rep over the next day to straigten it out.

The only thing I don't like is the size of the "damage deposit" ($300) and the fact that it takes them 10 business days to refund the $300 deposit. I think both of these are excessive, but it would not deter me from renting from them again.
