Hi sivam53,

If you're looking for a private villa rental or condo, www.ownerdirect.com, had lots in Kissimmee and they are a Canadian company too.

No information on the specific hotel you mentioned but you may also want to try hotels in the Lake Buena Vista area (right up the street from the main Kissimmee hotel area).

I don't know if you booked at this particular hotel or not but we just did and during the approx same time period. Feb 9-13th. Trip advisor comments were helpful in deciding for us. We have a party of 6 adults and 9 kids traveling and want to see all the different parks in the Orlando area, this hotel has free transporation to other parks as well as Disney. Have a great time. We can't wait.

Hi there, We just returned from a Family holiday at Quality Suites Maingate East. (Dec.4-11/04) We really liked the hotel. The front desk had all our rooms mixed up....there were 17 of us altogether. Unfortunately, the pool was FULL of fully clothed people every night. (Probably 40 or more people) We complained and were informed that the Hotel could do nothing about this. As far as shuttle service...they have limited shuttles. The city bus route is right there and it arrives every 20 minutes, and it cost $1.25 each way. We thought it was worth the convienance of not waiting for the shuttle. We would take the shuttle in the morning, and return on the BUS. There is a Publix grocery store right across the street, as well as a Walgreen's. There is plenty of shopping. What a FANTASTIC location this was for us. The rooms were clean, and most of the staff were friendly. It is unfortunate that the management would not act upon unaccpetable swimming attire. We were really disappointed and will try another location for any future family vacations.
