Marathon Key

Does anyone know a good middle priced hotel/motell/resort on Marathon Key? So much info on the web it's hard to decide. Thanx.

First off - Keys lesson here - there isn't a Marathon Key, Marathon is a city made up of many Keys:)

What are you looking for in a resort etc? There's everything from Hawks Cay which may be mid priced to some to White Sands Inn which is a small Mom and Pop type place. If you can narrow it down it would be easier to narrow down from this end. Marathon Chamber of Commerce also has a good list of accommodations.

We stayed at the Sea Dell, located right on US1. Very modest, especially the pricing, but very well cared for and very clean, with a very nice pool. I'd definitely stay there again. Here is a link for some reviews:

Continental Inn in Key Colony Beach is good and right on the ocean. Holiday Inn has been newly remodeled and I hear is very nice but is not on the oceanfront.

The Reef Resort is on the gulf side...been a long, long time since we stayed there, but their prices back then were reasonable.
