El siboney and la trot definitely but why are you limiting to those choices?

I love Havana One. El Meson is one that will not get my business again. IMHO they are a tourist trap. Mediocre food and rushed service. We have tried this place twice but they will not get a third chance. Their bar is good but that is all that I can say. Have not tried El Siboney.

I agree on Havana One. Much better then El Meson de Pepe and I prefer it to El Siboney as well. For Italian, I also like La Trattoria. For a more affordable option Mangia Mangia has great homemade pasta.

Several other places have good pasta choices including Blackfin Bistro or the wonderful Gnocci at Azur.

Thank you for your advice. Isn't Havana 1 a BYOB?

We are also La Trattoria fans...but have also had good meals at Antonia's and Mangia Mangia. In all honesty, I prefer the Cuban food in Miami as opposed to Key West. But I have not tried Havana One that others have mentioned.

But if you want Cuban for breakfast, I heartily suggest Sandy's on White St. We love their cafe con leche and Cuban bread breakfast sandwiches.

Get the pork, rice and beans at the Cuban Coffee Queen, Like 6 bucks at lunch and will feed 2 people.

Yes, Havana 1 is BYOB. They have applied for a beer and wine license, so may not be for long.

I'm not a fan of El Meson de Pepe, but we enjoy El Siboney and eat there frequently. I hope to try Havana 1 next month, but I said that before our July visit and never made it. Maybe we can fit it in this time.
