Water temps in April?

How is the water temperature in April? (Next week)
Ok for some snokeling/snubaing?

Current sea surface temp is 78 degrees F (today) - from www.weather.com - the Weather Channel web site.
Great for you Northerners - too cold for us Floridians.
I'd wear a wet suite.
This Floridian has already been in the water a couple of times, but it is still chillly -- especially if the sun hides behind the clouds. I'd pack or rent at least a shortie, just in case. If nothing else it's ogod protection against jellyfish.
Keep an eye on the forecast... we're going to have lots of wind and some significant seas this weekend, with both decreasing through Wednesday. It will probably lead to less water clarity for a few days.
