5/6 days where on the keys???

Hi,

Still trying decide on holiday plans but am leaning towards 5/6 days in the keys. Young couple no kids looking for relaxation, strolling,lunching, chilling out. Where on the keys would you recommend as a good base. We will have a car. We are looking at Marathon at the min??

Do you also enjoy sailing, kayaking, and snorkeling? How about music and dancing? A little history, some education? We found Marathon to be a spread out town, hard to get around without driving. Key West has more activities to offer but it also has its laid back side. Get up early in the morning and there are no crowds. A couple blocks off Duval and there are no crowds either.
