Looking to travel to Florida in July with my husband and 9 month old baby. We would prefer to stay in a condo instead of just a standard hotel room. Any recommendations? Hollywood a nice part of Florida? We're basically looking for a low key vacation - nice beaches with blue water, nearby shopping, place to walk with the stroller and maybe some options for some day trips. Any help would be great! Edited: 5:15 am, March 07, 2013Yes Hollywood Beach is an excellent option especially in the summer. There is a wide "Broadwalk" all the way along the beach filled with restaurants and shopping. It's a great leisurly uncrowed beach when the canadians go home. Miami Beach now is sooo popular its even crowded in the summer....especially with partying Brazilians who come during thier winter.
Best part of Hollywood beach is that there is no road between the stores and restaurants and the beach. Very kid friendly....cheap cab ride from FLL and there is a trolly that goes around from downtown and the beach. Yes...we can't gaurantee the weather but you'll love it.
