Easter 2013 in Hollywood with young children...What to do???

Hi we will be in Hollywood Florida for Easter with two children aged 2 and 4. I was wondering if there are any special activities being held in the area for Easter like a parade or egg hunt? Thanks

Last year there was a marshmallow drop that was listed for kids 6 and up and had a visit by the Easter Bunny , but I have seen no publicity yet about what is planned for this year- there is an e-mail on the press release for last year- so you might try e-mailing the individual to see what is planned.

IF you have transportation, there are probably activities in places like Sunny Isles Beach and Fort Lauderdale- as well as the western family oriented suburbs like Plantation or Sunrise as there were lat year.. However, often the activities are not planned for Easter itself ,but sometimes for the weekend before etc.

The Young at Art Children's Art Museum is a little west of Hollywood, but if you can get there, your children would have fun and they likely have something planned. It may be early yet for announcements though.

I see nothing listed yet by Young at Art, but here is information about their permanent programs, designed for very young children
