Gainesville Restaurant for Dad and Daughter

Hi. I am taking my 16 yr old daughter down to Gainesville to check out UF and was wondering what a good restaurant to have dinner on a Friday night would be? Nice, but casual. A "cool" place with good food. Any suggestions would be great, thanks

You could go to "The Swamp" which is right across the street from UF on University Ave. It's a great college restaurant and a lot of fun. Leonardo's Pizza is another good one. If you are trying to stay near campus, there are probably 40 restaurants along University Ave. within 2 miles of UF.
