First Time to Fort Meyers: Travel Between FM and FMB

We are traveling to Fort Meyers next month with some friends. We would like to stay at a Fort Meyers Beach Hotel while our friends will be at a hotel on Forum Blvd. . Is it easy to travel between the two area's. Maquest does not like the address that I type in.

Sorry for being such a newbie to that area.

45 minutes give or take - it really depends on where on FMB you are and the traffic (which can be pretty crazy in season).

That won't be an easy commute; closest access to FMB from Forum Blvd would be on the north end where the worst of the congestion will be (depending on day, time, etc).

Not convenient at all! The Forum area is east of I-75 and north of the beach area. Traffic can be brutal during season, and the commute between these areas would not be just a hop and a skip away

Use 3427 Forum Blvd, Fort Myers (not Meyers - maybe that is part of the Mapquest problem). Google Maps shows 31 minutes minimum. Could be closer to an hour or more in early April. Less traffic later in the month.

When we go to the beach during high season we leave by 9 A.M. and miss a lot of traffic heading that way. We also travel from near the Forum area. Good luck!
