We will be staying for 1 week at the Neptune Inn. Wondering about family friendly places to eat, babysitting services, places to check out, sunset cruise (if weather cooperates), manatee tours ect. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm surprised no one has answered yet so I'll bounce this to the front for you. (Your message was already down to 'page' 6)

All restaurants on FMB are kid friendly, there is a nice water park in Naples
http://www.napleswaterpark.com/
and also the Naples Zoo
http://www.caribbeangardens.com/
for a sunset cruise or dolphin cruise
and there is also a pirate cruise the kids would enjoy
or you can rent a pontoon from Fishtale Marina and cruise the back bays you will probably see dolphins and much wildlife....and check out lovers key, beautiful at the southend of the Island.
A day trip to Sanibel would also be nice!
Have a great time!
I forgot to mention Zoomers on Summerlin Rd
http://www.zoomersamusementpark.com/
and also mini golf, Smugglers Cove and Jungle Golf right over the bridge.

I think your children will really enjoy the Naples Zoo. Time Sq. usually has entertainters and they are very child friendly .If your 9 yr. old is a girl she may enjoy having her hair braided. There is also a mini golf course on San Carlos Blvd.
We visit Fort Meyers with our kids every 2 years in Feb.
We have done the Naples Zoo many times. It is small but the kids loved it.
Try Balboa Park. There is a train ride, walking trails, those bikes that up to 6 people can ride (lots of fun) the play ground is great and free. If it is warm enough there is a couple of splash pads. Your have to pay for parking so bring coins and dollar bills. The train and the bikes cost money but the rest is free. we go there every year.
There are lots of mini golfs to try
we go to Fort Myers beach a couple times. If you get there before 9 we find you can get parking in the lots on the beach you pay a machine. there are also lots within walking distance. The earlier you cross the bridge the less traffic
The kids like the imaginaium too. It is not really big, but your kids are young enough :)
Great post, thank you. We love the Naples zoo as well.
floridajoy steered you right. Neptune is on Ft. Myers Beach and you posted in Ft. Myers. 2 totally different places
You must go to lakes park too - really nice walks, bike rental, boat rental, park with water jets/fountains, miniature train, ice cream. It's great for the little ones
