After vacationing in Fernandina Beach this past October, we saw that Ciao Bistro was preparing to open in the Historic District. Unfortunately, we left before their grand opening and were wondering how it went and days they are open. Planning to come up sometime in December and would love to eat there. Any info would be appriciated!

Ciao opened up a couple of weeks ago in the former Pompeo's location on Centre Street. I have not been able to visit but have heard from others that they have had enjoyable meals there as they did in their off-Island location. Be sure to let us know when you have a chance to visit.
The food and service were of the same standard as the previous location in Yulee, but the noise level is quite a bit more than their former home.
