Considering Rehoboth Beach, DE for Easter 2013 Family Trip?

We are looking to head down to Rehoboth Beach with our two kids for the Easter 2013 weekend. Will anything be open this time of the year? Would it be worth the time? Any thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Many shops and restaurants will certainly be open. Funland will not be.

Delaware Tourism Office What's this?

Easter is a great time to visit Rehoboth. Parking meters are not effect so you can park anywhere you wish! Restaurants are open and all boutique shops are ready to serve. Strolls on the boardwalk, pizza at Grotto's and fudge and Candy Kitchen are must-see's! Great family friendly restaurants that are good for both adults and kids include Summer House Saloon, Fins Fish House and Raw Bar, Dogfish Head, Dos Locos, Greenman and many more. Have a great trip!

Anyone who hasn't visited Rehoboth in the "shoulder season" lately will be surprised (if not shocked) at how crowded it will be, and how much will be open. Not Funland, but Playland (boardwalk arcade) and some of the amusements along Coastal Hwy have been opening on weekends for a few weeks now.

Looks like the weather is finally warming up too. Have fun.

Yes things will be open ! Not Funland but some arcade stuff shops etc. Eat at Nicola's Pizza ! Explore Cape Henlopen Park just north of Rehoboth best acessed from Lewes DE, You can walk in and up to the top of a ww2 Observation tower. Hike and explore the former site of the Cape Henlopen light house. Lewes is a short drive away really cool town with mom and pop shops and great dinning. A neat toy store called Kids Ketch will not dissapoint the little ones.
