I did a search on Priceline and tweaked the dates a little...one day before, I think, and also searched to Grand Junction, and I got a couple of $250 flights.

What flights did you find? I can't find anything lower than $330 on Priceline.

I think the $250 price was before taxes. I found the same price on bookingbuddy.com yesterday but once they added in all the fees, etc. it came up to around $325 or more. I just checked priceline and didn't see the $250 price either.

One of the flights was Frontier to GJ, and the other was Delta, I think. And, I was playing around with the dates, maybe a Wednesday departure.

Can't try it again right now...I have a family member in the hospital but I might get a chance later tonight.

Thanks to everyone for looking into it for me. I found a flight in United for $288 including taxes and fees so I booked it. LAX to Gunnison at good times. I figured that was the best I was going to do.
