Telluride Express seems to be the most popular. I also see people stop at the grocery store in Montrose (especially if they're staying at a condo). Ask the shuttle service if they do that. There are two small grocery stores in Telluride -- but if you need a week's worth of food, you probably want to stop in Montrose.

The shuttle runs $45 to $50 one way or 88-100 round trip, depending on how many in the group sharing the van. It's about 65-70 miles from the Montrose airport to Telluride, depending on where you go in town or Mountain Village.

Renting a car might be less, but be sure to check with your hotel about where to park and whether or not there is any free parking. And of course the cost of gas these days!
