Rising temps - what to expect and any advice?

Hi,

We arrive tomorrow for skiing starting on Saturday. With resort temps in the upper 30s we were wondering what mountain temperatures will be? Should we expect just soft snow or slushy as well? Also, we plan on getting out early when lifts open, but any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dave

It won't be warm enough for slush, sadly. Just really nice soft snow. Conditions should be fantastic!!!!

It will be colder at the top, dress in layers.

We'll definitely be layering. What's the usual temp difference between base and top of mountain?

Thanks. I've been on that page a number of times and this is the first I'd noticed the 'On Mountain/Village' notations. Duh.

Thanks for giving me a clue.
