Ariving at 8 am with family and would like to go to Denver for breakfast. Any suggestions. Not Dennys or Perkins or the regular food chains. Real authentic local breakfast.
Thank you!

Denver includes a LOT of areas. Where are you going, to the north end, south end, around downtown?
If you are in the north end, Broomfield has Great Scott's Diner. Good
breakfast food (fast!), great 50's diner atmosphere and wonderful service. There's also one on Pecos in north end.
Have a good time here. Has been REALLY hot, plan to dress cool.
Two favorites of mine - Dixon's in LoDo and Racine's in between downtown & Cherry Creek shopping center on Speer Blvd. They are two of three restaurants owned by the same people.
Depends on where in Denver. Victory grill has a great Sunday jazz brunch, and Sams No. 3 (same owners) has great diner breakfasts next door.
Breakfast King at Sante Fe and Mississippi is kind of like a Denny's, only much, much better.
Pete's Kitchen for 24 hour breakfasts on East Colfax.
Dozens on 13th Street for hip breakfasts.
Watercourse Foods on 13th Street for vegetarian/natural food/healthful breakfasts.
Not "Denver", but Moe's Bagels in Boulder has the best bagel sandwichs I've ever had. Great bagel, egg, choice of cheese and meat and $3.50 can't be beat. I've had bagel sandwhichs at many other bagel places and none come close, though Bruegger's Bagels has a Western that's fairly good too.
(Moe's doesn't have a website, and they don't take credit cards).
Moe's can also be found in Denver at 550 Grant Street downtown.
I wrote a goList that includes some breakfast suggestions...looks like you already have plenty (of suggestions) already, though.
If you are there on the weekend here is a poll of the top weekend brunch spots.
Actually, the Best Breakfast post is better, the Brunch spots are often weekend only.
