Help; wedding in Red Rocks, need reasonable nice place

Coming for the weekend of October 20th for a wedding in Red Rocks with a bunch of family members. Need a reasonable, clean, nice place to stay. A bunch of places have been suggested, but not much on TA site on reviews. My family prefers a one bedroom suite so the 4 of us can stay together. Everyone else needs a regular room. I'd say a 15 minute drive to the wedding is fine. Nice to have a few restaurants close, but we'll have cars.

The places mentioned are Courtyard by Marriott, Denver West; Residence Inn, Denver Southwest/lakewood, Hampton Inn Denver West.

Any thoughts??

My family will head to Breck when everything is done. Considering Mountain Thunder Lodge there.

Thanks!!

I was married on Lookout Mountain at Boetcher Mansion (near Golden, CO). We lived in the Ken Carly area (near Red Rocks) at the time. My parents and several relatives had to fly in for our wedding and they all stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott south of C470. They enjoyed their stay and even stayed there once more several years later. That was 5 years ago - not sure if much has changed there.

There is a wonderful B & B here in Evergreen, which isn't too far from Red Rocks, the Highland Haven Creekside Inn. It contains several nice cottages, I believe some of which offer multiple bedrooms. It's about a 15 min drive or so up the canyon from Red Rocks to the Inn. It would certainly have more ambiance than a chain hotel, if that interests you. It's on a creek, often surrounded by elk! Evergreen is also a decent starting point to Summit County, including Breck.

It's probably been reviewed here on TA. Have a great time wherever!

F.Y.I. about the Highland Haven I forgot to mention, in case you are wondering if it's nice: In the February '07 issue of Sunset Magazine it was picked as one of the top ten most romantic bed and breakfasts in the country. It's also nice being walking distance from the shops/restaurants/galleries Evergreen has to offer, as well as Evergreen Lake. My favorite restaurant in Evergreen is Saigon Landing for Vietnamese food, although there are lots of other choices. Evergreen is upscale in its own way, yet it's still very quaint and laid back. Have a great time wherever you choose!

There are no real hotels near Red Rocks, but there is at least one B&B in Morrison, which is the closest town. I think that hotels in Denver West (this is the name of the area; it is in Golden, not Denver) would be your best bet. Anything around Colorado Mills Mall would be closest. There are lots of restaurants in this area. The Courtyard and Residence Inn are on the back side of the mall, bordering 6th Ave freeway. On the front side of the mall is a Days Inn and a Holiday Inn. Not far away is a Marriott Hotel.
