People can't predict snow conditions tomorrow with much accuracy, beyond historical averages there is no way to predict what the snow conditions will be like in April.

If you plan a trip then, make sure you like spring conditions. We don't care for skiing as much when the temp is above freezing.

You won't have any issue with snow in early April. There will be plenty of snow. Temperatures at that time will dictate what the snow will be like - might be mid-winter or might be springlike soft conditions - no way to predict. But you'll have a good time regardless.

Have fun.
