The Visalia Holiday Inn sits outside the city adjacent to the airport and a city owned golf/softball complex. The only restaurant walking distance is the hotel restaurant itself.

I would suggest doing breakfast at the hotel but doing dinner a short drive away.

While Visalia is over 100,000 residents with several commercial areas, I'd probably suggest the downtown Visalia area.

It is a nice walking district of shops and probably 25 or 30 restaurants. You'll find a lot of choices to match your mood for dinner. Just drive east on Highway 198 about 4 or 5 miles to the downtown exit.

Some restaurants to consider in downtown Visalia that I've eaten in and like include:

Vintage Press

Cafe 225

Jack and Charlies

Fugazzis

Henry Salazars

But there are many more to pick from.
