HELP!!! Wedding in Visali

Anyone know of a good, yet affordable, location for a wedding reception in Visalia or near by surrounding area. We are from Wisconsin, but, the brides family lives in the Visalia are. So, planning has been a little difficult. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What time of year?

How many people?

Are you planning just a cake and punch type reception or do you want to serve a meal?

There are a number of outdoor "party barn" locations for receptions. They are in the country on ranches. I've been to a couple and they have nice settings.

I can also think of some rental halls that are fairly inexpensive such as the Veterans Memorial Building, PPAV hall, Sons of Italy hall, etc.

Then of course there are the larger banquet halls like the Covention Center or meeting rooms at some of the local hotels.
