Santa Paula has two new art museums coming to town!

Watch in the next year for two new art museums. One is the

old "Mil"l built around 1880 that has recently been purchased by the county of Ventura. It is to become a "Farm Implement Museum"

which of course means other exhibits as well.

And second is a new Art Museum on 10th Street in the

old Limoniera Building. Santa Paula has much wonderful art

that has been at various places in the city and, soon is going to be

under the one roof. Again, there will be other exhibits coming as well.

There's also the Union Oil Museum, giving history of CA's petroleum industry since Santa Paula is where Union began: http://www.oilmuseum.net/ Also, there are many antique aircraft beautifully restored at the Airport. I believe the first Sunday of every month is "open hangar day".

Art of a different type!

Santa Paula also has a number of outdoor murals.

The town library currently holds a sizable collection of local art, most of it lanscapes.. It's worth a look. The Old Mill remodel is coming right along - thanks for letting us know what the plans are.

This is very exciting. And a real art gallery in the Old Limoneira Building is sweet.
