WE are stopping for 1 day on our coastal wine cruise in Santa Barabara. It is a Sunday, April 28. I read about a trolley or a shuttle in the town. We would like to take the urban wine trail along with seeing the sites. What means of transport would you recommend.
We are in port a short time 7-4 pm.

The wine trail is great! There are a number of tasting rooms right down by where you will be disembarking. Also there is the trolly that goes from the the pier to the top of state street. It cost 25 cents and makes a stop on just about every block. There is a trifecta of great tasting rooms on Anacapa street, between Canon Perdido and De La Guerra. Its made up of Au Bon Climat, Margerum and Grassini Family. On the beach side blocks off state street you'll find 7 other tasting rooms including Santa Barbara Winery and Kunin. If you look up Urban wine Trail there is a map and you'll see all the one I'm talking about. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy many great Santa Barbara wines.
Also is you like Rhone varietals Jaffers is by far the best on the trail. It's a little farther out of the way, but worth the taxi ride.

The Downtown Shuttle travels State St. and the Waterfront Shuttle travels Cabrillo Ave. Both shuttles cost 50¢. Bring dollar bills and coins as they do not make change.
