We are camping at pismo coast village rv park and would like to know the closest place to go wine tasting

Laetitia winery is just off Hwy 101 near Arroyo Grande. Very close to Pismo. They are known especially for sparkling wines and pinot noir. We have enjoyed their wine tasting room -- lots of wines poured.

You are very close and within an easy beautiful drive to all the SLO wineries. From the RV park take the 1 north to Hinds - turn right or east and it will turn into Price Canyon Road. Take this road over the 101 and keep driving through the beautiful countryside until it deadends at Hwy 227 or Edna Valley road. You can actually turn either direction on the 227 and be wine tasting immediately! Just look for signs. Get a map at the first winery and there you have it!! Have a great time. There are wonderful whites in this area. Some well known wineries include Tolusa, Edna Valley, Claiborne and Churchill and my personal favorite Wolff.

Yes, Edna Valley!!

Edna Valley Winery on Biddle Ranch Road has awesome views from their tasting room. It overlooks vineyards toward Islay Hill, an extinct volcano.

Kynsi Winery on Corbett Canyon Road offers excellent wine, as well.
