.... i saw the old posting, orignated from someone in ohio, regarding where to stay for a short term period in the palo alto area... thought i'd generate another one since the last person indicated that the forum was gettin' kind of old...

any decent temp places near el camino real?

Well, there are the usual suspects, such as the various suites hotel chains that are plentiful along this area.

I'd look on craigslist.org, under "Peninsula" and "sublets/temporary." There are Palo Alto listings.
