We recently stayed at 7 Springs Inn and Suites in Palm Springs. The last of three days there our room was not cleaned nor made up and we had to go to the desk a couple of different times to get towels and soap.

Upon our return home we found a charge on our credit card bill for $200. Checking with 7 Springs General Manager we were told that this was for smoking in the room. What a load of garbage. This is nothing more than a scam. There was no smoking in our room by us or our friends.

Seems after two weeks the G.M. just happened to remember that he inspected that room and smelled smoke!!!

7 Springs refused to credit our account so we have disputed the charge with American Express.

BEWARE!

Hello it seems like you tried to scam the 7 Springs. We stayed and everything was in writing about the terms and conditions concerning the smoking policy. Maybe if you followed there policy concerning the no smoking in room you would have had a better stay.

We stayed and we loved it and are going to recommend it to all of our friends. Seems that you need to get over it and move on.

Its really sad that person like yourself can not just play by the rules.

No kidding, if the room smelled like smoke, and it would have when you arrived, you should have said something, otherwise, the "scam" is simply hotel policy.

I'm sorry, maybe I can't read into something that isn't there. I don't see where she said she smoked. She says she didn't.

TG - how do you know she didn't follow policy? Oh, cuz you had no problems on your visit so you believe every visit is going to be perfect.

Its so sad that a person like yourself us unable to take people for what they say happened.

BC - why would the room have smelled like smoke when they arrived?

Now with that said, girly and her friends could be smokers. So maybe they couldn't realize the smell of smoke in the room when they left or arrived.

That doesn't mean they smoked in the room though. Perhaps it was on their clothes and when they left and the odor of smoke was on some of the bedding.

Not sure how the policy reads whether its "smoking in the room" or the "room smells of smoke" they are two different things.

If they don't smoke its possible their last night was in a heavy smoking area.

Or is possible the manager thought what he smelled was smoke and did what he thought was correct

I would inquired about not having my room cleaned for 3 days.
