We'll be visiting Ojai on Thanksgiving Day. We have a place to stay and a 6pm res at the Ranch House (many other places are closed), but not sure what we can do during the day since it is a holiday and things will be closed. Any suggestions? Maybe a hike?
If you're into spa treatments such as massages, etc. the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa offer a comprehensive menu. They even have a traditional Chumash Indian dry clay cleansing treatment which sounds pretty interesting. (No, I never tried that)
If spas are not your style then maybe you can head out to the Ventura area which is only about 20 minutes away. The harbor area has some shops and maybe you can check out the Channel Islands National Park exhibit.

Ride the bike path! Bring your own, or rent from Ojai Bikes on Canada St. Ride into Ojai Valley Inn for lunch, or just looking around the grounds and shops. Or take one of the many wonderful hikes. Pratt, Foothill. Matilija canyon. Is the public golf course open that day? In Soule Park? That could be fun. We have a house in Ojai and plan to be there on Thanksgiving. We'll probably hike and ride bikes. Enjoy it, whatever you do!
