Breakfast in Napa

Hi

I'm starting to regret not booking out room with breakfast included in the rate at the Westin Verasa...it probably would have been very convenient.

Does anyone know it the breakfast there is a buffet? If so, the price per person?

Any other places in walking distance for a sit down hot breakfast in case Verasa is very pricey?

Thank you..

Teresa

If the Bank Cafe' in the Westin doesn't send you, probably the best places downtown for a traditional American breakfast (eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc.) are Gillwoods or the General Store:

The Oxbow Marketplace is just down the street from the Westin and there are several places there that have breakfast selections too.

Thanks for that information....

I'm not a big breakfast eater - but the hubby is....and maybe the travel companions also- so I wanted to have some options...thanks again

FABULOUS quick breakfast options right down the block at Oxbow. 5 min walk max.

I don't know about FABULOUS, Jmekeller. What do you recommend?

For big breakfasts, I just read that Gillwoods in Napa will be closing in May. That's a shame but Viva Mexico for Lee and Lee!

Well maybe not FABULOUS in the great grand scheme of things, but for what the OP is looking for (close to Westin, convenient, not too fancy, since she isn't a huge breakfast person) The Model Bakery is perfect. We would grab a couple of breakfast sandwiches and sit outside with them, some coffee and fruit, and enjoy the morning sun before setting off for the day. It was a fabulous start to our day. Just enough in our bellies to fortify us for a day of tastings!

Yes, Model Bakery is a great choice for a quick breakfast and it's so convenient to the Westin.

I forgot about Grace's Table in downtown Napa. They open for breakfast at 8:30 on weekdays and at 9 on weekends.

And for a weekend brunch, there's The Thomas where they also serve up some nutritious cocktails:
