Plan is to have a massage and some relaxation at Glen Ivy day Spa in Hermosa Beach.

After, I would love to treat her to a nice Lunch.

She is sort of a foodie.

French, Japanese, above all Tasty...good tasting food...

Agree - head north five minutes to Manhattan Beach to Cafe Pierre or Petros (modern Greek) which has been named best newcomer by Zagat. http://www.petrosrestaurant.com/

Both would be great. And during the holidays...free parking courtesy of the city of Manhattan Beach.

Another place to consider is Chez Melange in Redondo Beach. I'm going there for a birthday lunch celebration this week. The food is outstanding. You can look at a sampling of their menu.
