Thunder Valley Casino Amphtheatre

Has any attended a Concert at the Thunder Valley Amphitheatre? I was just wondering if it was

worth it to buy reserve seating or just go with General Admission? It looks like there are also different types of GA seating too. We are going to The Beach Boys show in Sept. and any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks!

The Thunder Valley Casino Amphitheater is basically a black-topped parking lot that has chairs, bleachers and a stage set up on it, encased with fencing. The sound here is pretty good. Seats are good anywhere. It's not that big of a place. The bleachers even give you a good seat, however, they are hard metal bleachers with no back support. The chairs are fold-up chairs with pads for the seat and the back. The video screens help a lot in being able to see what was happening on stage. The downside is this place is hot. The musicians were baking in the afternoon summer sun and appeared to just want to do their songs and get going. I'm not sure why Thunder Valley doesn't move the stage so that the sun is not directly on it. There were ample portable bathrooms, which was nice. We chose to leave the concert before the encore since leaving with everyone else was going to take some time. Around 8:30 pm, the breeze picked up bringing with it the smell of the nearby large dump facility. If the ambiance is important to you at concerts, this is not the place for you. It was hard for us to forget we were in a casino parking lot in Lincoln.
