My DH and I will be coming to the LA area (staying at the Embassy Suites South of the airport) for Dec. 1, 2011. We'll only be here one day and want to get out onto the beach and have a good seafood dinner someplace.

Does anyone have any good ideas for this. Would love if the restaurant would be on the beach so we can have a sunset time dinner.

If there are a few shops around it would be nice too. We will not have a car so we'll need to know how to get back and forth also.
