Hello, I am hoping someone from the El Segundo area can give me some info. My husband will be moving there for a job at LAX airport and wants to find a furnished place to stay. Does anyone know of any place besides Extended Stay America hotels? Or any ideas of where to search?
The Residence Inn by Marriott has living quarters, and includes free hot breakfast and evening social hour, but the daily price is higher than Extended Stay. My friend had to move out of her home for 6 weeks while her new home in Manhattan Beach was being completed and found the Extended Stay the best price.
Another option is the Courtyard by Marriott. It has free breakfast, wifi and work station and a Courtyard Cafe off the lobby to buy breakfast.
Some business people like the Hawthorn Suites on Sepulveda Blvd. in Manhattan Beach. Free breakfast. Lots of restaurant choices in MB.

You would be a mile walking distance to the MB Pier.

Choose a room facing the courtyard, rather than the street.
Is he staying a long time? Maybe check out a place on vrbo.com vacation rentals by owner if he wants to rent by the week or month.
