Rehearsal dinner in Dana Point

We are trying to schedule a rehearsal dinner for a large group and are looking the the Dana Point-San Clemente area. We were hoping to be close to the water, good food, great atmosphere. Any suggestions?

How large of a group, how much per head?

There are not a lot of good spots near the water in South County. Those that there are tend to be big on view, less so on food.

A place with an awesome view is Cannons, on the cliff above the harbor.

I recently went to a lunch at The Vue restaurant at the Marriott. Nice view.There was a wedding party having some sort of get together on the lawn overlooking the harbor.
