I am not a traveler, but my daughter and I will be staying here. Is it safe and we will be spending most our time at the los angeles convention center how far is this and what isthe best transportation

it is less than a half hour drive to the la convention center.

it depends where in compton you are staying...

its usually not the place for tourists to stay....however it is easy to get to places in the LA area if you do have a car.

Where are you staying? Most likely you are fine where you are staying but Compton does get its fair amt of coverage on the local news due to this or that issue.
