Dinner suggestions for 3 nights

Hi

We will be in the area for 3 nights. Looking for dinner suggestions. We are looking for 2 more casual nights and one nice dinner for our 5 yr wedding anniversary. Thanks!

Pacific's Edge is another very nice place in Carmel for fine dining. The views are amazing there. If you like paella, Fandango in PG is the place to have it. We love the ambiance at Fandango, very cozy and warm. :).

Procured a worthy dining deal on Restaurant.com for California Market Cafe @ Highlands Inn & made an afternoon reservation for an outside table on the rail - spectacular views up here! Food was decent, but the heaters were cycling on/off, so if you've an aversion to the coastline's oft chilly temps, an indoor window table may be a better idea.

After lunch, we grabbed a table & enjoyed some complimentary coffee adjacent to the Pacific Edge dining room in the main lobby & enjoyed the incredible floor to ceiling views of the entire coastline - worth a trip in alone! (just beware of the circling, timeshare sharks in there! ; )

Loved the rooftop bar/fireside tables & toasty heaters at Vesuvio ! (@ the old "Piatti" location..) Great happy hour up there, though we were late -- nice small plate options and tasty pizza with some great imported cold cuts like a spicy, Creminelli-like sopressata..

Off to Point Lobos & Nepenthe in the AM! :)

We had excellent meals at La Balena, Basil, Mundaka and Aubergine last week. The first 3 are casual and the latter would make a good anniversary splurge (it's the restaurant mentioned above in the L'Auberge inn). Unfortunately, I've been disappointed with the food at Pacific's Edge before (the view is wonderful though).

Sounds very nice! Enjoy your time at Pt. Lobos and Nepenthe! The Ambrosia Burger is very good there. :)
