Recommendations for 7 hour wine tour near Bodega Bay

We are a group of 7 staying at a house at the upper end of Bodega Bay, CA in mid-April and have an already purchased 7 hours of limousine time. We are looking for recommendations for probably 3-4 wineries in the Russian River Valley or nearby that would help us make the most of our time. If you are really familiar with this area we would also like a recommendation for a possible lunch stop, or a winery in the area where we might want to spend a greater amount of time picnicking. Thank you.

If you like bubbly, Korbel is a neat place to stop especially if you are new to wine. If you have more expensive taste, Iron Horse should be on your list.

Since you have purchased the limo time, I would assume that the driver is familiar with, and has done many of these tours. He/she might have some good ideas, and are familiar with the area.

Littorai is in the Sebastopol area, and is by appointment only. They have great tours that go into their biodynamic wine making process, and have high end excellent wines. If you end up in Sebastopol, there is also a new center being built called The Barlow http://www.thebarlow.net/tenant. Some of the shops are still in construction, but others have opened such as Wind Gap Wines. This could be a fun sto. There is also Freestone Winery, which is close to Freestone bakery which makes excellent breads! Hartford Winery is also not too far away, and makes amazing wines, all 90+ and above.

Other wineries in the Sebastopol area will also be not too far of a a drive, such as Lynmar, Dutton Goldfield, Merry Edwards, etc.
