405 closure

I'm travelling to Bakersfield tonight around 8.30pm from LAX, can anyone advise me on which is the best route to take due to the road closures. Thanks

Get your pencil......

405 N to 10 E

10 E to 110 N

110 N to 101 N

101 N turns into 170 N (stay towards the left when the 134 junction gets near)

170 N to 5 N

5N to Bakersfield

Traffic should be light. The Dodger game should be out by 4 or so and should not affect you.

Welcome to CA

From LAX, south on Sepulveda Blvd

East on 105 (Imperial Hwy)

North on 110

North on I-5 to Bakersfield

Don't forget to get onto the 99 at the 5/99 junction!!

Also, you could simplify this quite a bit by taking the 110N directly to the 5N. 5N exit will be a left hand exit, a few miles past the 101 exit. Eliminate the 101/170 steps entirely.

(Follow initial instructions of 405N to 10E to 110N. Then 5N to 99.)

ThanksSocial and I were writing at same time. That works too. Your choice. Just don't forget to get on the 99!

We had to drive the 10 to the 405 junction in West LA yesterday, and the traffic was light.
