Hi,
Any advice on eating would be great
Thanks

Hi,
I have been Sidi bou Said recently (Dec. 2012),
and had a break at Café des délices.
They have a beatiful view, overlooking Tunis Bay,
small yacht harbor, the best location in Sidi Bou Said.
I ordered Shwarma, an Arabian Sandwich, which was OK.
My friends ordered a Tunisian tea with pine seed, which supposed
to be their special menu.
After a while, tea came with cakes.
So, we asked weiter, he said it is Tunisian cakes.
We enjoyed drinks and food with view, but he charged us those cakes
seperately, and tip as well.
I complained because we didn't order, he didn't say it will be charged.
Then, he offerd discout, we had as usual argument.
Anyway, here we learned again. Be carefull in Tunisia.
wish you all have nice trip!!
These might be worth a punt...

Sidi Bou Said is a lovely place, especially when there are no cruise ships alongside at La Goulette, when tour groups tend to take over the place.
Lol, I dont think the OP was too bothered, the post was dated 24th MARCH last year, lol. ;-)
Oops - it was early this morning when I posted though!
But the information's the same though, especially about trying to avoid Sidi Bou Said if there are any cruise ships alongside.
