Church of Santiago

The Church of Santiago is located at Plaza Santiago. The church was built in the 18th century and was the work of Cristobal Garcia. The facade has many Mudejar influences. The design is Baroque and simple, with one nave, with a cupola. There is a camarin of the Virgen de la Salud, with a rococo decoration of plasterwork that was made in 1765. The image of the Virgin is from the 17th century and stands on a wooden platform that is gilded. There are several paintings in the church that are interesting. The sacristy has many gold and silver works that have great value.
