Bachelor Party

Hello all,

I am thinking about hosting a bachelor party in Fayetteville. There are 8-12 of us, dependent upon everyone's schedule, late 20's and am thinking the weekend of the 26th in April. Would be coming from the Memphis area mid-late afternoon driving down, return Sunday - is it worth the drive? Am searching vrbo.com for rentals but am not having any luck so I turn to you TAs...where is the "inn" place to stay that can accommodate all of us (part of town, suggestions on hotels or private condos)? I am also looking to honor the groom with bonding activities throughout the day and a good party/club scenes at night (there are several that are single that are coming with). Also, we have two young ones traveling with (18-20yr olds), can they get in at the bars/clubs with us or are there activities to keep them occupied at night?

Thanks for any help especially since this is such short notice.

Just so you are aware, this vrbo property is about four hours from F'ville. The drive from Memphis to F'ville is ~5-6 hours. That's a lot of driving for one weekend.

Are you opposed to staying in Memphis? The thought of Tunica, MS and the casinos there keeps coming to my mind.

If you really want to come to F'ville, I'd suggest staying downtown--The Chancellor Hotel, Dickson St. Inn. This would put you walking distance to restaurants and bars.

It has been a while since I was 18-20 yo...I think most of the bars you must be 21 to enter.

Wasn't aware that it was that far away from Lake Norfork...we don't want to stay in Memphis, do something different. I have posted in a couple of different cities such as F'ville, Little Rock, New Orleans, Chicago, and Louisville. Trying to get a fill for what each city has to offer. Will take a look at the downtown suggestions Thanks!

Narrowed it down to Fayetteville or Little Rock - Which one?

Honestly...I'd say Little Rock. I love Fayetteville and there is plenty to do but I think the time spent driving from Memphis to F'ville would be taxing. You should be spending time "bonding" with the bachelor, not driving in a car.

And, trust me, that drive back to Memphis after a fun-filled weekend is no fun.
