We will be in Drake Bay Area in January and planing to do a Corcovado day trip.

Can you recommend a good private guide?

The correct person or even good guide for you to answer your question...Ballardo aka jaguard men..member of this forum...hard to find somebody like him and he is local..a local guide...

Leonardo Rojas is a young licensed guide working out of Sierpe usually on contract to the larger companies for Corcovado tours to all areas accessible on day tours. He knows his stuff, has a good command of English and appears unbeholding to the status quo. He has pleasant attitude and can set his pace to those he is guiding. He is particularly knowledgeable about the mangroves around Sierpe which are seldom the focus of tourist, but which contain a wondrous amount of flora and fauna.
