Try going to the Tempe Blcok Party in downtown Tempe. Starts

around 6 PM and lasts until 1 AM. Lots of decent bands, plenty of food , drink and fun activities. Plenty of parking nearby and the area is fenced off to allow for only the paying customers! Mill Ave. just west of the ASU campus.

Whiskey Row in Prescott! Prescott is the oldest town in Arizona (featured in the old Billy Jack movie). Along the courthouse square is one block called "Whiskey Road". It has several bars on that strip; we celebrated New Years 2000 there, they were having a street party. Don't know if they're doing it this year, but it was a nice friendly, family atmosphere. Check it out.
