5 days 4 nights in Buenos Aires this March

We have 5 days 4 nights in Buenos Aires after our crusie and planned to visit Iguazu falls in 2 days 1 night then back to BA. Looking for good advise on tour packages or suggestion from travelers who had done the similar plan. Thank you.

Hola Kaladai!

I would suggest the following;

- On the first day in Buenos Aires take a tour to explore the highlights of the city (Plaza de Mayo, La Boca and Recoleta). Half day tour would be enough and then take the afteroon to spend extra time in the area you particularly liked.

- Second day (hopefully a Sunday) explore the markets (San Telmo fly market, Recoleta handicrafts, Belgrano crafts, Palermo fashion)- and if you feel like, assist to a tango place. Either a show or a milonga, or even both if you feel like!

- Third day; explore Tigre and sorroundings- lovely area outside of Buenos Aires. A lot about it have been written in this forum!

- For day 4 I might suggest a day trip to Colonia, or explore more of Buenos Aires (The grand Opera House, Malba museum, Evita Museum, stroll around Puerto Madero and Villa Crespo, visit Pasaje Lanin,etc). Dependin on if you enjoy more city life.

Another option would be to visit an Estancia- if you are beef and countryside fun.

I hope this are good option for you!

Enjoy a lot!
