Which Bus to Take from Callao, Recoleta BA to Feria Matador

Hello;

My Husband and I have rented an apartment on Callao/Libertador in Recoleta for a month - we've been walking everywhere - reading bus signs ect while we do and checking on-line -but still have been unable to figure out which bus to take to Feria Matador this Sunday.

Thank you!

Hi!

I am sorry to tell you that the Feria de Mataderos is closed for the summer, I think it will open again around March.

To move easily around the city using public transport maybe you should buy a "Guia T" the small size one (which stands for guide yourself) at any newstand for not more than 15/20pesos. It shows you little maps of the city and all the bus lines / underground stations that go to the place you want to visit. You just have to look for the name of the street (in alphabetical order in the index) and it will show you a reference for a map.

Hope this helps!

Enjoy BA

Mataderos will be open on Saturdays beginning later in January. Not sure when they switch back to Sundays, but sometime in March is probably right.

We stumbled upon a market by the cemetery as well went to the San Telmo market last sunday - are there any big markets you'd recommend during the summer (month of Feb?)

Thank you again.
