I stayed there about 18 months ago. It was excellent for several reasons.
The owner, Olaf, would open a special bottle of South AFrican wine each evening, and go through the many great restaurants he knew and helped us decide where to eat. "Tell them Olaf sent you!" was his sound advice.
He'd arrange the taxis, there and back (about a 15 minute ride usually). The only disappointing night we had was in a pizza place in Camps Bay, which we chose ourselves!
All the rooms are good, but we stayed in the honeymoon room which has a double aspect over the ocean and the mountains. Also had lovely private hot tub on the balcony. Indoor pool meant we didn't go to the beach......excellent breakfasts...chilled living....
I'm a fan!
