I am just planning our first visit to south africa next feb/mar for two weeks.
The first week I think we will stay in capetown, possibly an apartment in the camps bay area.
Then we want to do a safari, I am considering a walking safari at Phinda or Ngala, Phinda seems a better combingation followed by a stay at a camp in Kruger, but then how do you get from one to another. Is the area near Phinda worth staying at? Also I love the idea of the walking safari, but you wouldn't get snakes coming in your tent at night would you?
Also it would be easier to do the Ngala walking safari then to stay at a camp in say Sabi Sands, but would these be too similar.
Sorry one last question (for the moment) would two walking safaris with one night in between them say in a hotel be too much?
