I am looking at lodging recommendations for the Takeeetna area. I am kind of looking at cabin and B & B type lodgings. Some places I noticed were the Talkeetna Roadhouse, though simple, may meet our needs, and the Swiss Alaska Inn. Can anyone share about these properties as well as any other recommendations. Just to add, although I'd love to stay at the Talkeetna Alaska Lodge, or drive further north to stay at the Princess McKinley Lodge, these properties are either unavailable for our date of travel, or more we wish to spend. Also wanted to stay at the Talkeenta Chalet B & B, but they're booked up.Looking for pretty much anything. Thanks, appreciate your recommendations.

We ae travelling to Talkeetna in early June, we have booked throught Talkeetna travel. They were very helpful. We are staying in a cabin on the river but the travel agent gave us options. Try them

That's a very good choice. I had inquired about that cabin too, but they were booked the night I needed. I think you'll have a great stay. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Steve

we are staying at a cabin that belongs I think to Latitude 62 lodgeThe cabin is not near the lodge but is on the river in Talkeetna. Completely separate fully self contained, no breakfast.

When are you going to alaska? We will be there from Mid May until 20th june, we can't wait

The cabin rented out by Latitude 62 was available so I decided to stay there.
