We are booked there for 3 nights end of August. I received some information about Jenny Lane Cottage on the Homer forum listed under texasford, you may want to take a look at the bottom of page 4 of that forum, "tustumena" responded and it sounds pretty good.

I've walked by the cottage & it certainly is in a beautiful location. Beluga Slough, a bird watcher's paradise, is right near there with it's boardwalk. Also Bishop's Beach. It's just in a cute area of old town with it's cottages with character!

Two Sisters Bakery is down near there & one of my favorite coffee cafes. Don't miss that!

My husband and I just returned from a 3 week stay at Jenny Lane Cottage in Homer. It was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable for two. The view is fantastic. The owners Frank and Claudia are wonderful, interesting people.

We, also, frequented the "Two Sister's Bakery" on a daily basis.

It is a very short walk to Bishops Beach which is a great place to beachcomb. Most other museums and shopping is also within walking distance.

From other cabin type rentals we saw while in Homer - I would highly recommend Jenny Lane Cottage.
