Hi All,

I posted a bunch of pictures of Ait.. Just to let you know I could never take a descent picture and my camera is a small digital. None of them really do the island justice. And, when you see the ones from the plane, I was just holding up the camera and clicking as I was gawking out the window. I hope you enjoy these. The memory of the island is forever etched into my brain and I can't wait to return...

P.S. I have a bunch of Rarotanga I will post soon!

Fijieez, Great photos, I especially like the Survivor stuff, I'm a big fan. Would you sne me the high-res version of the Tribal Council image? I'd like to put it on my website, Surivor Maps.

Lisa,

Yes, the locals loved me when I left all of it for them. RU made a dash for the vodka and Roses cocktail infusion so fast, she did it before we finished checking out!

I'll be back if I can afford it next year for sure!

Whatd you think about my pics? Capture it OK?

Thanks for your comments Ken!

survivorjunkie,

It was taken from so far out with such a small lens that this is already enhanced as far in as I could get it without it exploding. I'm afraid it does'nt get any better. I can still send it if you like.

The two masted ship that carried the contestants was kinda cool. We were there when they were filming the arrival (all morning). It will be interesting to see how they make the place look on TV.

Fikieez, Yes, please send, the one on your photo album says the original is 882 pixels wide, but they only show a 480 pixel version.

That is the R. Tucker, a schooner. Here is it's website: http://www.tucker.co.nz/ It came up from NZ to Raro, and then Ait. to film the opening sequence. Survivor had contacted HMS Bounty out of Sydney, but it was too expensive to rent.

Fijijeez? - thanks for posting these pictures, they are amazing. :)

I would like permission to post these pictures on Survivor-related boards. I also have a couple of questions, which would probably best be handled by email to avoid cluttering the board.

Would you contact me by email: hillsisland@yahoo.com?

Thanks again for sharing your photos.
