Never ziped in Montezuma so someone will have to chime in on that.

I've done the montezuma zip as well as a couple others and the montezuma zip is tame compared to the others. If it's your first one it's great because it isn't too fast which allows you to take in the sights. There's a pause where you can go for a swim in the river as well. Also you use a gloved hand to brake. For yourself at the end.

The Hacienda Baru Canopy is great but I think you will enjoy a zipline in either area. It is an adventure.

I thing you were asking for Montezuma or Dominical?

Some people may need a geography class of my country...Monteverde is about 5 hours from Dominical...minutes more minutes less...

The good old copy paste it works but is better when you know the country geography!

Hacienda Baru just minutes away from Dominical...good place...adn good safety record!

Like Roadadvisor correctly pointed out, the zipline in Monteverde recommended by a first poster is no were near Montezuma nor Dominical, it would require a 5 hour drive each way from either of them…

Additionally the ones I posted near Dominical, you could also look at Manuel Antonio as it is just under one hour away from Dominical and has a choice of zip lines as well. But Hacienda Baru is a great one anmd only 3 min from dominical.
